The Blackfjord is our own original Viking sword, drawn from the classic raider blades of the North Sea and dressed head to toe in black and silver. Compact, quick and genuinely battle-ready, it is the sword of a warrior who travels light and strikes hard. This is Norse steel without compromise.

Blade: Forged from 60Si2CrVA spring steel and mounted full tang, the broad double-edged blade carries the classic Viking geometry: wide at the guard, tapering to a capable point, with the toughness and flex to shrug off hard use.

Guard & Pommel: The short curved guard is cast in 304 stainless steel and cut with crisp geometric line engraving in the Norse style. Behind the grip sits a traditional lobed Viking pommel, its antiqued silver faces engraved with triquetra knotwork and warmed by a subtle copper-toned accent between the lobes.

Scabbard: The wooden scabbard is wrapped in black genuine cowhide with white saddle stitching and a raised sword-silhouette relief pressed into the leather. A polished conical steel chape caps the tip, and two riveted, adjustable straps hang it from belt or baldric.

Handle: The grip is built on wood and hand-wrapped in tight bands of black cowhide, giving the slightly waisted, sure-handed hold that made the one-handed Viking sword famous.

Dimensions: At 91 cm (35.8 in) overall with a 68 cm (26.8 in) blade, a 21 cm (8.3 in) grip and just 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs) in hand, the Blackfjord is fast, lively and shield-wall ready.

Every fjord has its legend — start yours with this one.
