Limited Lifetime Warranty

Every sword we sell is covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Who is covered

The original buyer, for as long as they own the sword. The warranty is not transferable.

What is covered

Defects in materials or workmanship, for example:

  • a blade that cracks or breaks during normal use;
  • a guard or pommel that works loose;
  • a tang failure;
  • fittings that come apart without impact.

What is not covered

  • normal wear, scratches and patina;
  • rust or damage caused by lack of care (a carbon-steel blade must be kept dry and oiled);
  • misuse: hitting hard objects, steel-on-steel sparring, throwing, prying, cutting materials the sword is not made for;
  • modifications, re-grinding or re-sharpening carried out by anyone other than us;
  • scabbard and leather wear;
  • the small cosmetic differences that come with handmade items;
  • loss or damage in transit (that is handled by our 30-day return and damage policy, not by this warranty).

How to make a claim

Email support@medieval-sword.store with your order number, clear photos of the problem and a short description. We reply within 2 business days and tell you how to proceed — do not send anything back before we confirm.

What we do

If the claim is approved we will repair the sword, replace it, or refund it — the choice is ours. If we send a replacement, we ship it to you free of charge, duties included, like any other order.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
