Where our swords are made
Our swords are hand-forged by our partner workshop in Longquan, China — a city that has been forging blades for more than two thousand years and is still one of the most respected sword-making centres in the world. The designs are European; the forging is done by Longquan smiths we work with directly.
How they are made
Blades are hand-forged, heat-treated and tempered, then mounted on a full tang. We work mainly with two steels: 65Mn manganese steel and 60Si2CrVA spring steel. Every sword is assembled and finished by hand, so small cosmetic differences between two pieces of the same model are normal — that is what a handmade object looks like.
